Hmmm...off to a lousy start this year on the updates. We had a cold Spring, so I got a lot done.
I completed Phase I of the pathway project: Rear walk and grasses bed. Phase II, the steps, is next.
I finished the arbor and sealed it late last year, but never did the photos taken until now.
I also added more plant, particularly climbing vines to the arbor, last year.
We also added a bulb bed right by the driveway.
We actually got some blooms on the Wysteria this year, which was a nice surprise.
A lot of things are really kicking into gear this year. Took some pics with my Mum in them for size perspective.
The Norway Spruce in the last picture looks pathetic...but it's got new growth on it...so I'm not giving up.

Speaking of pathetic, check out the sod I laid down around back. Not a lot of hope for that making it...

I got the stairs from the driveway down to the arbor done.
That's Phase II of the pathway project for this year. The next phase is through the arbor,
around the corner and down to the double doors around back...then framing the fruit bed.
Once I get all the framing/pathway stuff done, I'll finish up the beds with plants/mulch.

I also totally massacred the Akebia (the very first photo from May 8, above), removed the consumed
trellis from its depths...then built a new climbing frame for it. Looks sparce now..but give it a year.

Garden's planted as well (tomatoes, peppers & cucumbers....oh my!).
I also planted a heap o' more seedlings in the RH garden area earlier this Spring.
